| |   | Heat up your winter in Hamilton with WinterfestHamilton’s annual celebration of all things winter kicks off this Saturday, Feb. 4th with the 34th Annual Winterfest. The week-long City-sponsored celebration includes special events throughout the city at recreation centres, area-attractions, museums and restaurants. It runs until Feb. 11th.
The fun starts Saturday with a launch event at Pier-8 skating rink, Hamilton’s new outdoor waterfront rink, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Bring your skates or rent a pair at the skating rink where visitors will enjoy ice-sculptures, musical entertainment, fire eaters, free hot dogs, hot chocolate and much more! Best of all, admission is free.
