The Canadian International Military Tattoo

Saturday & Sunday – 2-1/2 hours of stirring music, dancing, pipes & drums and military displays AND a commemoration of the 200th Anniversary of the 1812-1814 War; the 150th Anniversary of The Royal Hamilton Light Infantry (WR); along with International Guest Performers. Ontario Festival of Cider
Saturday – Puddicombe Cider presents the Ontario Festival of Cider! Featuring 11 of Ontario’s finest cider producers on display for sampling and Q&A. Treasureventure

Friday, Saturday & Sunday – Hamilton’s adventure festival returns for a 3rd year with more ways to have fun. Geocaching, jousting, the Wild Animal Kingdom, Sideshow Madness featuring Lizardman, a midway, games and so much more. Family fun at its best, and all for $40 for a family. Open Streets

Sunday - Walk, Ride or Roll down James Street North in this unique event that closes the street to cars & trucks and lets visitors & residents roam free. Over 100 local businesses, organizations and artists will be on the street in support Open Streets, including the Western Corridor Alliance with their War of 1812 celebrations. Open to the Core

Sunday - Open To The Core live music festival runs all day at Dr. Disc on Wilson Street, Homegrown Hamilton and Club Absinthe on King William Street between Hughson and James North. Live music from Silversein, Saint Alvia, Lee Reed, Killin’ Time Band, The Organ Thieves, Nilla, and the Penske File. $8 gets you into all shows. Click here for more details.
Yanni at Hamilton Place

Friday - Fresh from a SOLD OUT World tour, Yanni comes to Hamilton Place with his world class musicians as they take the stage to perform his greatest instrumental hits made famous in his shows from The Acropolis in Greece, The Taj Mahal in India, The Forbidden City in China and The Royal Albert Hall in England. “Rock the Hammer’ Regatta at Royal Hamilton Yacht Club

Saturday - Attention photographers! The Royal Hamilton Yacht Club hosts the annual ‘Rock the Hammer’ regatta near Pier 4/8 parks on the waters of Lake Ontario. Bass fishing opens at Valens & Fifty Point

Saturday - Great news for fishing fans in Hamilton! Bass fishing season opens at Valens and Fifty Point Conservation Areas. Provincial fishing licence is required. Ministry limits per angler apply.
