To qualify to participate in the City’s Logo Sign Program certain criteria must be met. The following information will help you to determine if your business is eligible:
Minimum period of operation
- Open for business seven (7) days a week, twelve (12) months a year
Required service to be provided & other requirements
- Cannot be participating in the TODS program on the highway systems
- Be open to the general public
- Be compliant with the City of Hamilton’s municipal permits and/or approvals for trailblazing and way-finding process
- Be visible from the intersecting roadway or adjacent roadway which forms part of the trailblazing way-finding route
- Have a direct entrance to your business
- Comply with all relevant legislation and regulations
Maximum distance of service
5km or less driving distance from the PPI (Primary Point of Intersection to the main door
of your business) and no more than two turns from intersecting roadway
