Deleting a user account

You may also have any content that you have posted on the site at any time by contacting the Blog Admin. The Blog Admin will review your request and take appropriate action within 72 hours.

Deleting a user account or content is final with no option of recovery. Deleting an account leads to the automatic deletion of all photos, videos, stories and comments published by the account user and, where applicable, of elements that are associated with the account, including other users' votes and comments.

The City of Hamilton reserves the right to delete user accounts that violate the Terms and Conditions. It may also delete accounts for administrative or security reasons or if the accounts are inactive.

Final provisions

The City of Hamilton reserves the right to temporarily suspend or terminate the operation of the Tourism Hamilton blog in whole or in part.

The site is not a service for hosting or storing your personal photos, videos or stories. You must therefore store your original files, including photos and videos, on another archival format as they cannot be retrieved or downloaded from the site.
